Some things we just know. Australia is an island, for example. Or that California is in dire need of water conservation. Others? Sales tax is more or less 7%. Nonsense is conventional. Or nachos are good. Or it is probably going to rain later. The sky resembles old soap someone has thrown into the belly of a whale. Later rain, a hammering rain, we presume, a universal darkness that will cover all! Or maybe just a sprinkle, little thrown gems that spark off the sidewalks. Who’s to say? Me? I just made these nachos and now I will eat them before they dampen.
